The Employee Management System (EMS) is a full-stack web application designed to simplify and centralize human resource management within an organization. Built with a Django REST Framework backend and a React frontend, the system provides a unified platform for managing the complete employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, attendance, leave management, payroll, performance tracking, and asset management.
The application implements Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) with four user roles: Super Admin, HR Manager, Department Manager, and Employee. Each role has appropriate permissions to ensure secure access to system resources. Authentication is handled using JSON Web Tokens (JWT), providing secure user login and session management. The responsive user interface is developed with Tailwind CSS, offering a consistent experience across desktop and mobile devices.

The system maintains a comprehensive audit log that records important user activities, supporting accountability and compliance requirements.
